Terracon seek to recruit an enthusiastic individual to take on the day-to-day responsibilities for the running of the accounts function and office.


Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate must be able to take on responsibilities within a busy working environment that requires strong communication and organisational skills.


Job description

  • • Sales invoicing & credit control

    • Processing Supplier Invoices & payments

    • Raising purchase orders & liaising daily with Suppliers

    • Completion of monthly management accounts

    • Cashflow management

    • Bank Reconciliations

    • Preparation & submission of VAT Returns

    • Processing of weekly and monthly payroll

    • Assist in preparation of year-end statutory accounts

    • Liaise with external accountants

    • Other ad hoc duties & support to other departments

This is not an exhaustive list and may be altered by the Managing Director

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a bookkeeper/ in Accounts role within a busy environment

    • Experience with Xero is desirable

    • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

    • Excellent organisational and communication skills

    • High attention to detail and accuracy
