Your role

  • As a Lead Design Engineer, you’ll take the lead on developing innovative, high-performance machinery, ensuring designs meet the highest standards of durability and efficiency. You’ll be responsible for delivering projects on time and to a high standard while driving continuous improvement in our products

Key responsibilities

  • Own the design process – Lead projects from concept to full-scale production
  • Engineer precision – Develop 3D models, technical drawings, and detailed engineering documentation
  • Collaborate across teams – Work closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure practical and cost-effective designs
  • Ensure compliance – Conduct design reviews, meeting all relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Optimize performance – Apply best practices in materials, manufacturing, and structural integrity to improve machinery efficiency and longevity

What you need to succeed

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy engineering
  • Proficiency in Solidworks
  • Deep understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Shot Blaster to prep components to the highest standard.

  •  Shot blasting or similar industrial experience preferred

  •  Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
